TOM HOAGWOOD
Tom Hoagwood has more than 10 years of experience in media relations and corporate communications as an executive communication coach, consultant and PR professional. Most recently, he worked as an in-house communications consultant for Capital One, implementing communication plans and strategy for the Executive Vice President of Global Financial Services.

Prior to joining Capital One, Tom served as the Director of Communications for a Washington, DC-based telecommunications company. There, he led a team of communication and marketing professionals in developing and executing communications strategies to include media, investor and executive relations as well as handling speechwriting and media requests. Tom also handled community relations and managed vendor relationships with public relations and marketing agencies.

Tom is a lawyer who practiced as a litigation attorney in the Washington, DC area before turning to corporate communications and media relations.
